The Chalet
The Chalet can be enjoyed as a romantic getaway for two, or by a family. There is an awesome carpeted loft area with 2 twin beds, a luxurious Master Suite and Bath, a custom kitchen and a queen-sized futon on the main floor. With central air conditioning in summer and in-floor heating in winter, you can enjoy Charlevoix all year round!

Charlevoix Mushroom House The Chalet is set back behind The Thatch House. It shares its iconic thatch roof, but has its own private entrances.
The Chalet is a "secret hideaway", made for the romantic at heart.... perfect for honeymooners from Castle Farms, or celebrate an anniversary, or for a romantic birthday getaway...or perhaps a girls-only weekend of shopping, dining and fun!
A "magic" spiral staircase leads to the secluded Master bedroom on the lower level, while the children can play and sleep on the level above, in the overhead loft.
The kitchen and living area offer rustic charm, being handmade of course by "unknown small mystical craftsmen" working late at night by candle light. It is said that if one sits quietly on a moonlit night, these magical gnomes can be spotted checking on the Chalet to make certain that everything is still in perfect condition....
During the day, walk to the white sandy beach, just steps from your door, to enjoy the beautiful lake, or walk 3 or 4 minutes into town for shopping and restaurants. You'll walk to the beautiful Charlevoix marina/park in under 5minutes! It all adds up to a very relaxing stay.
